With the work 20 Kg Of Me artist Ksti Hu reflects on the ruptures in her German-Komi identities. She weaves her experience as a late repatriate from russia with her inherited indigenous knowledge from the forests of Komi-Ancestral lands and tries to hold them together. Can an imported plant harm the forest? Can this process be controlled? And who has to bear responsibility for that? But also, can a displaced human find peace? Should one wait for it at all?
